A fog advisory was issued for parts of southern Ontario Wednesday afternoon.
Dense fog and near zero visibility is impacting some areas, the advisory from Environment and Climate Change Canada stated.
“Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero,” the advisory said. “Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.”
The visibility is expected to improve later this afternoon as the dense fog dissipates.
The advisory was issued for:
- Milton
- Halton Hills
- Hamilton
- Caledon
- Guelph
- Shelbourne
- St. Catharines
- Grimsby and northern Niagara Region
- Woodstock
