WEATHER ADVISORY: More snow is coming in the GTA and southern Ontario [Video]

There’s yet another winter weather advisory and snowsquall warnings in effect for parts of the province with an additional 5 cm of snow expected in the GTA and up to 10 cm in other parts of southern Ontario.

Environment Canada issued winter weather advisories on Tuesday following a travel advisory that was in effect for most parts of the GTA on Monday evening with between 5 and 10 cm of snow that impacted the morning commute.

And the agency says there’s more winter weather on the way with another 5 cm of snowfall expected in parts of the GTA while communities farther north could be in for 10 cm.

“A band of lake effect snow has moved into the area,” Environment Canada says of Toronto and areas east of the GTA including Oshawa and Durham Region. …
