Weather conditions could impact travel to two Canadian cities on Wednesday.
Light flurries are expected at Toronto Pearson Airport today but airport officials say there won’t be any snow accumulation. The weather won’t likely impact local operations at the airport, Pearson said in a post on X.
“However, unsettled weather in parts of Canada could affect some travellers heading to Calgary or St John’s,” officials said.
Freezing rain is forecast in St. John’s Wednesday night, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Pearson is planning for 447 arrivals and 455 departures on Wednesday.
The busiest departure time is between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. with 93 flights—about one every 77 seconds.
The airport also advised that there is construction on the departures level Terminal 3 parking garage between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Drivers will need to use the arrivals entrance level. Signage is out on the roadways to help navigate to the arrivals …
