Even more rain will fall in part of Ontario on Friday.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for areas including Toronto, Durham Region, Barrie, Parry Sound, Peterborough and Belleville.
The weather agency said rain will continue Friday, with additional amounts of 10 to 20 mm expected.

“Rain associated with a slow-moving low pressure system will continue to affect the area today,” the statement said.
“Rain is expected to ease from west to east this afternoon or this evening.”
Environment Canada warned that localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
