White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that starting on Saturday, February 1, the United States will be implementing 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico, as well as a 10% duty on China.

Dr. Kenneth Louie, Director of Economic Research Institute of Erie at Penn State Behrend, said with this move, he believes there will be some reciprocal tariffs coming the United States’ way from our country’s three largest trading partners.
