Some UPEI researchers are asking Islanders about the role that biomass — wood, crop and livestock waste — should play in the province’s energy future. They’re doing an anonymous survey asking about the potential risks and benefits of biomass in helping P.E.I. reach its net zero goal by 2040. Nancy Russell went to UPEI to find out more.
