SPOKANE, Wash. – Braylin Wimmer’s fifth-inning inside-the-park home run helped lift the Spokane Indians over the Vancouver Canadians in an 8-2 home win.

Spokane carried their series finale winning energy from their 3-1 Sunday win over Everett into this game, pulling their season record to 2-2.

Wimmer hit 2-5, scoring his run and two RBIs; he joined Skyler Messinger, Jared Thomas and Jesus Bugarin as players with multiple RBIs.

The Indians return for game two of the series tomorrow at 6:35 p.m. for Book Club Night at Avista Stadium.
