Two suspects have been arrested and over $45,000 in cash and drugs seized following an investigation by the Windsor Police Service (WPS).
Officers searched a residence in the 500 block of Pelissier Street Thursday afternoon.
There they arrested a 37-year-old female on suspicion of trafficking. Officers also arrested a 42-year-old male for violating his bail.
The search of the residence yielded 429 grams of cocaine, 0.3 grams of crack cocaine, 12 tablets of 5mg oxycodone, and three tablets of 40mg oxycodone. The total value of drugs seized in the operation was $43,090.
Additionally, police seized $5,090 cash, two cellphones, a digital scale, and 87 Crown Royal bottles, which police say were reported stolen out of Tecumseh.
The woman has been charged with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, namely cocaine
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, namely oxycodone
- Possession of a schedule I substance, namely crack cocaine
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Failure to comply with a release order
