The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) made three arrests over the weekend in connection to two separate incidents involving stolen cars.
The first incident began around 10:45 p.m. on Saturday when officers saw a speeding car in the area of King Street and Flora Avenue.
With the help of the Air1 police helicopter, officers saw the car heading west on Logan and then enter a parkade at a casino on McPhillips.
After a short foot chase, police took two people into custody. The vehicle was confirmed stolen.
The driver of the vehicle, a 30-year-old Winnipeg man, has been charged with several offences including dangerous operation of a conveyance and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
A 24-year-old woman is facing a breach related to a curfew condition.
Both suspects are in custody.
