Another dump of snow has prompted a winter weather advisory for a large swath of southern Ontario.
Total snowfall accumulations of five to 10 cm are expected in parts of southern Ontario on Monday, Environment and Climate Change Canada said in the advisory.
The advisory is in effect for north Durham Region and areas north of the GTA including Owen Sound, Orillia, Barrie, Newmarket, Parry Sound, Huntsville, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, and areas to the east including Kingston, Ottawa and Cornwall.
There could be reduced visibility in heavy snow starting Monday morning through to the afternoon.
There is also a risk of freezing drizzle early this morning before the snow begins.
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather.
