Police are seeking further information on a crash that killed a 64-year-old woman and left three people seriously injured in Cranbrook, B.C.

According to a release issued by the BC Highway Patrol Tuesday, the collision occurred just after 7:30 p.m. on Highway 3/95 near Stropky Road on Dec. 26, Boxing Day.

The woman, from the city of Grand Forks, had been driving solo, while the three people seriously hurt were the driver and two passengers of another car, the release said.

Speed and impairment are still to be ruled out as factors of the crash, and the investigation remains ongoing, said police.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or the events leading up to it are asked to contact BC Highway Patrol Cranbrook at 250-420-4244, and refer to file 2024-4895.
