A woman was stunned at what her husband got up to in their home’s basement while she was on a five-day business trip.

For most ordinary owners, there’s always one area of the house that could use a little TLC. A survey of 1,000 U.S. homeowners conducted by the website Today’s Homeowner found that 82 percent of respondents have at least one area that needs work.

There was a time when Steven Parker from Ontario, Canada, and his wife, Ashley, would have said the same about their house and, more specifically, their basement.

It’s a space set aside for Ashley to run her website, The Loopy Lamb, an online resource for crochet enthusiasts like her. Parker is immensely proud of his wife’s efforts with The Loopy Lamb but felt slightly ashamed about the basement she was using to promote her efforts.
