Former Auburn guard Kaitlyn Duhon has signed with the Texas A&M women’s basketball program along with former Miami (Fla.) guard Lemyah Hylton.

Duhon played in eight games this season before suffering an injury against Kansas on Nov. 30 and then she left the program. Duhon was averaging 7.3 points and 2.1 rebounds. The 5-foot, 10-inch Duhon averaged 5.4 ppg and 2.7 rpg as a sophomore in 31 games, making 10 starts when Auburn made the NCAA tournament, ending a four-year hiatus. She made 69 of 150 field goals. She played in 30 games as a freshman, making six starts.

“She understands the physicality required to compete in the SEC and is one of the best perimeter defenders in the country,” A&M head coach Joni Taylor said in a release. “Kaitlyn brings a steadiness about her that is important to a locker room.
