NO, NO, NO — An intense bear encounter was caught on camera last week and it’s one of those videos you feel you can’t look away from until you know how it ends.

The video was taken by Svitlana Shyliakova in Whistler, British Columbia. She appears to be a safe distance away from the scene as she watched the heart-stopping moment unfold.

She reportedly said she was returning to her hotel in the British Columbia resort town when someone warned her about the bear.

Footage shows a bear walking around outside in front of businesses and a handful of people can be heard talking in the background. The bear first passes by one man sitting on a railing then another man, who appears to be filming the encounter, casually approaches the bear.

The bear lunges at the man, who responds “Ohhh!” and then growls at the bear right in the animal’s face.

“Leave him alone!” people shout at the man.

Another voice says, “Get out of his way!”
