1 killed, 2 hurt in shooting at party in Commerce City [Video]

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — A man died and two people were injured in a shooting at a house party Sunday morning, Commerce City Police said.

The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. in the 6900 block of East 69th Place. That’s a few blocks west of Quebec Parkway and the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge.

The man who died was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Another victim was transported to the hospital, and police did not know how serious their injuries were. A third victim transported themself to the hospital and their injuries are not life-threatening.

Detectives are in the process of gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses who were at the party. Police said many of them attended the party after seeing social media posts about the event.
