2 arrested after shooting at converted homeless shelter in northeast Denver [Video]

DENVER (KDVR) – Denver Police were on the scene of a non-fatal shooting at a homeless shelter that has been converted from a Double Tree Hotel in the Central Park neighborhood on Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

A representative with DPD told FOX31 that the call came in around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Denver police tweeted around midnight that officers were on the scene at the 4000 block of Quebec St. where one person was transported to the hospital with an unknown extent of injuries.

By 7 a.m., the police tweeted that the victim was an adult female and she is expected to survive.
