The Sarnia Police Service (SPS) had an early morning call on Christmas Day, as reports were received of an injured man following a stabbing.
In the area of Wiltshire Drive and Murphy Road, Sarnia, around 1:45 a.m., police found a 30-year-old man with multiple wounds and had lost a significant amount of blood.
The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after police gave emergency first aid to the victim. The man had major wounds on his thigh and left shoulder. Minor wounds were found on his arm, top of his head, his face, and defensive wounds on his hands.
Through an investigation, police learned the victim was walking through Wiltshire Park near the Howard Watson Trail, when two unknown men attacked the victim. The victim was hit and stabbed multiple times, and then personal items were taken.
