B.C. Premier David Eby is trying to clarify the rules around hospitals and drugs, after a leaked memo from a hospital in the Northern Health region sparked questions around the safety of health-care workers. The memo, from last year, tells nurses not to confiscate illicit drugs or weapons from patients. The official Opposition suggests decriminalization has led to drug use in hospital rooms.
