BoC and the Fed can move in different directions: Fidelity’s David Wolf [Video]

David Wolf, portfolio manager at Fidelity Investments, and former Bank of Canada advisor, joins BNN Bloomberg to discuss the BoC’s rate roadmap after the central bank held rates steady today. He says Canada’s lower productivity and slower immigration could lead the BoC to move in a different direction from the US Fed. He says that if US rates move up and Canadian rates go lower, that will push the loonie down relative to the US dollar.
