Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre gave Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his Liberals an ultimatum on Wednesday declaring that they have until the end of the day to stop the proposed 23 per cent hike on the carbon price or the Conservatives will introduce a non-confidence motion in Trudeau and his “costly government.”

Poilievre says the motion will “call for the House to be dissolved so Canadians can vote in a carbon tax election.”
