Lou Diamond Phillips, Mick Foley and Mighty Morphin Power Ranger David Yost were announced as special convention guests, per a CC Comic Con Facebook post Friday.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Comic Con announced three special guests set to make their way to the Coastal Bend for this July’s comic book and pop culture convention. 

Among those guests, is our very own Corpus Christi native actor and director Lou Diamond Phillips. According to a social media post on Facebook Friday morning, Phillips will be joined by American author, comedian and retired wrestler Mick Foley in addition to David Yost, a.k.a. the blue Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. 

The three-day event will take place from Jul. 28-30 at the American Bank Center. 

Event hours are:

  • Friday, 12pm – 7pm
  • Saturday 10am-7pm (Showroom closes at 6 when the cosplay contest starts!)
  • Sunday 10am to 6pm.
