Court Denies Nnadi Kanu Bail, Orders Accelerated Hearing [Video]

Justice Binta Nyako has denied bail to the leader of the proscribed indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
In her ruling, Justice Nyako held that the court would only grant an accelerated hearing in the matter and ordered the prosecution to call its first witness.
The court also held that it will not grant any order transferring Mr Kanu to Kuje correctional centre as there are more than 15 defendants with terrorism charges in that facility that have escaped.
