News Article :-
The dad of Wally, an emotional support alligator, has made a heartbreaking plea for his return 11 days after the gator was reportedly kidnapped and stolen in Georgia.

Wally, whose nickname is Wallygator, disappeared on April 21 while he and his owner, Joie Henney, were visiting friends in Brunswick, USA Today reported.

In a video posted to TikTok, Henney said through tears: “I’m Wallygator’s dad. We need all the help we can get to bring my baby back. Please, we need your help.”
Henney also said a reward is being offered for Wally’s safe return with “no questions asked.”

After a Georgia Department of Natural Resources official contacted Henney to say someone stole Wally, Henney said he organized a search party for his beloved gator.
Someone reportedly stole Wally with the intent of dropping him off in a resident’s yard “to terrorize them,” Henney said.

Upon finding an alligator in their yard, the resident called authorities and a trapper responded. The trapper then reportedly released Wally into a swamp.
Henney wrote in a post on Facebook that Wally, 8, will likely not survive if he was left on his own in the wild.
Henney adopted Wally, who is four feet long, when it was just over one year old.
Wally is an emotional support animal that has comforted many people in nursing homes and has done many leashed park visits.

Henney’s videos show Wally going on long walks and giving hugs and kisses to people in need.

Henney has also started a GoFundMe page to raise money for costs related to Wally being stolen.
