Hardeep Singh Nijjar killing: The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) disclosed the arrest of three individuals in connection to the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a designated terrorist by India’s National Investigation Agency. The suspects, identified as Karanpreet Singh (28), Kamalpreet Singh (22), and Karan Brar (22), were apprehended in Edmonton, Alberta. They face charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection to the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey, Canada, last year.
The RCMP on Saturday released photographs of the accused along with images of a Toyota Corolla allegedly used by the suspects leading up to Nijjar’s murder. Superintendent Mandeep Mooker, Officer in Charge of IHIT (Integrated Homicide Investigation Team), highlighted the ten-month-long investigative effort involving various law enforcement agencies across Canada.
