Massive turnout as cows return to pasture in B.C. interior

More than one thousand people gathered to watch the “spring turnout” at Kootenay Meadows Dairy Farm near Creston on Saturday. The farm’s dairy cows spend the winter indoors to protect the soil — and their feet — but come springtime, the cows return to their pasture. As Corey Bullock reports, the a-moo-sing event raises money to maintain a local park.
