Former Lennox Island band councillor Wendell Labobe has now become P.E.I.’s first regional chief. He will help amplify the voice of P.E.I. Mi’kmaq at the Assembly of First Nations level. CORRECTION: In an earlier version of this video, Labobe made reference to being elected to the position of regional chief. In fact, he was appointed. This video has been edited to omit the incorrect information.
