Milahnie Perry finds comfort at Air Force and stamps her name in the record book [Video]

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Milahnie Perry is a bucket-getter. This season the sophomore became the programs all-time single season scoring leader.

“I’m still in awe sometimes it feels surreal,” Perry said

But just last year the Florida native had second thoughts on if her career at Air Force would work out.

“My family and I are really close I really missed them and the change in the climate the difference between Florida and Colorado is a big difference. Kind of the culture shock different people, climate and experience here. It was a lot to take in and adjust to,” Perry said.

But eventually, Perry became comfortable in the Springs.

“When I started thinking about the future you can feel a little bit of uncertainty I started taking it day by day and the difference between sophomore and freshman year it gave me more comfort and I do feel a lot more comfortable now,” says Perry.
