Mystery predators force Six Nations petting zoo to move dozens of birds to safety [Video]

Trish Simons, owner of Triple C Farm in Ancaster, gets to know more than two dozen fowl she is temporarily housing for nearby Six Nations farm, Turtledove Corral and Aviary, where predators have killed about half their flock of birds.

They came in the night, taking first two pheasants and some rescued pigeons. No blood, no feathers, just empty perches and nests.

Then, more than half a dozen turtledoves and nearly 20 homing pigeons went missing. Two ducks were the final victims, their headless bodies left on the ground.
