David Lynn Wells, 71, of Batesville passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, in Batesville.  He was born September 9, 1952, in Batesville to Theodore “Slim” Wells and Hattie Herron.   He was retired and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.  He was an avid music lover and loved to dress up.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Alberta Watkins, Mary Wells and Syvatious Wells; four brothers, Ronald Wells, Teddy Wells, John Robert Wells and Joe Glen Wells as well as other extended family members.

Survivors include three brothers; William Wells, Tommy Wells and Samuel Wells all of Batesville as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Ruddell Hill Cemetery with Rev. L.A. Bland officiating.
