Ontario Premier Doug Ford holds a news conference in Caledon to announce the province will begin construction on Highway 413 in 2025.
He is joined by David Piccini (Ontario’s minister of labour), Vijay Thanigasalam (associate minister of transportation), and Patrick Brown (mayor of Brampton), as well as Mike Gallagher, Jack Oliveira and Joseph Mancinelli from the International Union of Operating Engineers.
