Ontario reaches deal to produce cancer-fighting isotopes [Video]

Ontario announced plans on Thursday to produce a medical isotope at the Darlington Nuclear Generation Station.

The isotope is used by two Ottawa-area companies to produce a drug called TheraSphere.

It’s already been provided to more than 100,000 liver cancer patients worldwide.
