SOPHIE Trudeau has claimed she “hasn’t spent much time” with Meghan Markle despite the Duchess saying she is a “dear friend”.

The former First Lady of Canada, 49, featured in an episode of Meghan’s Archetypes podcast back in November 2022.

During a segment, the Duchess of Sussex, 42, claimed she had gone to Sophie “over the years for advice”.

She also said her friend “used to send me little meditations during my pregnancy” and voice notes “of encouragement”.

But Sophie, who was previously married to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, played down her friendship with Meghan.
