PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A rollover crash involving a windmill tower has closed a stretch of Interstate 84 for several hours on Wednesday.

The Oregon Department of Transportation says the highway between Exit 304, north of Baker City, and Exit 374, west of Ontario, is closed while officials clear the area.

New details revealed in Scappoose double homicide

ODOT extended the closure eastbound to Exit 265 near La Grande just after 1 p.m.

US 30 is also closed to non-local traffic, ODOT says, “as it’s not a viable detour route for I-84.”
