The U.S. (and therefore Canada) could see stagflation similar to the 1970s (high inflation with high unemployment) this according to a recent Wall Street Journal interview with Jamie Dimon – CEO of JP Morgan Chase. Dimon says that with an economy propped up on debt, rising fiscal deficits, and rising oil prices we could resurgent inflation amid a worsening economy.
