The Town of Alberton has a rat problem.
Residents have seen the rodents running around the western P.E.I. town, scurrying under their decks. Rats have even gotten into their cars.
Mayor Brian Poirier said the concerns first surfaced last summer.
“Has it started yet this year? Probably.”
