Valuable treasures from the collection of the Déri Museum in Debrecen (eastern Hungary) will be on display at the exhibition entitled “Dynasties, the first kingdoms of prehistoric Europe,” which will open in the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ) in Spain on March 26, the Debrecen institution told MTI on Monday.
In addition to the bronze sword and axe found at Téglás (eastern Hungary), gold jewellery, bone tools and ceramic objects from the collection of the Déri Museum will also be on display.
The statement quotes Toni Perez, President of the Provincial Council of Alicante, as saying that
this exhibition is not just a collection of objects, it is a story that has been created through years of work and research, a story that connects us with European culture itself.”
