Monday’s eclipse was a full-circle moment for a native Vermont researcher who made a triumphant return to his home state to see the total solar eclipse.Sean McBride, who is now sponsored by NASA, spent the three minutes of totality with his former science teacher from Burlington High School.”It’s almost like a big playoff game in sports or something. We have to have everything working and executing at the exact right time in order for us to get the data, get the science we need,” said McBride.
