Established just shy of three years ago, the Gochman Family Collection, which focuses primarily on contemporary Indigenous art, has already become one of the largest and most important its kind.

For our 2023 edition of the Top 200 Collectors issue, collector Becky Gochman, collection director and former gallerist Zach Feuer, and artist-in-residence and co-curator Rachel Martin, give ARTnews a tour of their Upper East Side apartment.

In this video, Zach Feuer highlights Nicholas Galanin’s “I Think It Goes Like This,” 2016. Nicholas Galanin was recently announced as a 2024 Guggenheim Fellow alongside Lorraine O’ Grady.
