WASILLA, Alaska (KTUU) – Team Alaska is pulling away through four days of competition in the Mat-Su.

Following the conclusion of Wednesday’s events, Team Alaska is sitting in first place in the total medal standings with 105 earned medals, becoming the first region to reach triple digits in the total count so far. Alaska’s 30 gold medals also sit atop the table, with Yukon not far behind at 28.

One of the teams with the chance to add to that total is the U18 male hockey squad. They’ll play in Thursday’s gold medal game against Northwest Territories following a 6-2 drumming over Nunavut.

Other notable performances include the Alpine Ski team, which combined to win nine medals over the last three days, as well as the curling team, where the U18 males took home silver following a 7-2 loss against Alberta North.

Full results from day four can be found here.
